Stop guessing which software is actually worth paying for.
The Solo Operator Software Stack is an 8-page guide for people running a business by themselves. It answers one question at every revenue stage: what should a one-person business actually pay for, and what should it cancel?

What's inside
Stage 1 ($0–$2k/month): the ~$7/month stack
Email, CRM, invoicing, scheduling, notes, automation and design, with what each free plan includes and when it stops being enough.
Stage 2 ($2k–$10k/month): the upgrades that buy back hours
About $86–$108/month if all of them apply, with the math shown.
Stage 3 ($10k+/month): systems, not seats
When a per-seat tool is worth it, and the test to run before you buy.
Cancel This: five common overspends
Worth roughly $1,400 a year, each with a "keep paying if…" line so you don’t cut something you need.
Stage 1 in 30 minutes
A setup checklist.

How the prices were checked
Every price was read from the vendor's own pricing or help pages on September 23–24, 2026. We quote the regular price, not introductory promos, and say whether it's billed monthly or yearly. Example: FreshBooks Lite is advertised at $1/month for the first year, then $23/month. Picks are based on published pricing and plan features, not hands-on testing.
What it isn't
It isn't a "top 10" list anyone paid to be on. SoloVetted has applied to Wave's and HubSpot's affiliate programs (pending); no pick depends on a commission, and the PDF contains no affiliate links. It isn't financial, tax or legal advice.
